You are here: The Team

Meet the Crew

When you come and visit us, these are some of the team you might meet!

Martin 'Doc' Hall:
Doc is a Master Instructor - which means we can run courses up to Assistant  Instructor entirely in-house, and only bring in an external Course Director for the OWSI part of the Instructor Development Course. Doc can normally found by his many shouts for coffee!!

Marion Hall:
Marion is a Staff Instructor, which means she can also teach up to Assistant Instructor (if Doc lets her!)  She is also able to teach many of the Specialty courses available.  That is when she doesn't have to look after the accounts, coffee making, the children, the dog, the house, Doc and the rest of the staff to name just a few of the easier things she does

Maz is also the main First Aid Instructor, responsible for First Aid at Work and EFR courses, as well as being an EFR / FAW Instructor Trainer!

Stephen 'Tiny' Trench
Once you've met him you won't need to ask why he's called Tiny!!  Tiny's calm, relaxed manner has helped many slightly apprehensive students through a course!

Dale Roberts:
Dale is a recent addition to the team, although he's been diving with us for a few years now.  Dale was already a BSAC Instructor and crossed over to PADI when he left the Marines, so if you have any questions about how PADI and BSAC compare - he's the man for you!

Andy 'Tigger' Mack:
Tigger came to do a Discover Scuba with us about 6 years ago  and hasn't stopped bouncing yet!!  He's now a Divemaster, and thoroughly enjoys showing people the best bits of our local dive sites and helping divers build up their confidence underwater.

Bev and Ian Stanbridge
Bev and Ian only started diving four years ago, but have carried on taking 'just one more course'!  They are now part way through their Instructor course, but holidays keep getting in the way!!

Richard and Zoë Hall:
As you can see, the dive center's resident little monsters!!
Richard has now started his Junior Open Water course, and is taking it nice and slowly - planning to get in the sea early next year!  Zoë has done a few pool dives, and absolutely loves it!  Although she's too young to take her Open Water course, she spends most weekends in the water swimming after SMBs and catching fish!

In addition to the human team, there is also the dastardly doggie duo of Pippin and Archie, Stormy the bunny plus two tanks with quite a range of tropical fish (and babies) to keep youngsters entertained while Mum and Dad look at the bright, shiny dive gear!!
