The Club

Wednesday Pool Evenings:
Exmouth Pool is now open again, so why not come along and brush up your skills ready for the warmer weather!

As in previous years, we have arranged a schedule of skills clinics to help you keep your skills fresh, and to give you the opportunity to try something new!  Cost will be £15 per person for these sessions for Club Members.

March 19th: Buoyancy Circuit - with hoops, ropes and golf balls!!!
March 26th: Try Diver Propulsion Vehicles (this was very popular last time, so you get another chance!!)

Club Night Schedule

We hold our Club Nights on the last Thursday of every month, either at the dive centre, in Exmouth Rugby Club or a local hostelry.

Friday 28th March:  We are having a pre-holiday meeting for the Tenerife trip at Exmouth Rugby Club from 7:30pm, but everyone is more than welcome to come along for a few beers.

Doc is in the process of arranging a talk from the Seahorse Trust - did you know they are often found around these waters!!

Did you see Sharkman?  We're hoping to arrange a presentation from the South African Dive Centre where he is based, to find out a bit more about diving with sharks!  So if you'd like to dive in South Africa, this is one evening you don't want to miss!!

Recent Club Nights

The annual Lifeboat man's Ball Club Night....

Another year another ball!! We were there again with a huge table of 20 showing our support for Exmouth's hardworking RNLI! A fantastic night...yet again. Can't wait until next year.

All the JCD Crew dressed to impress!                                         The Boys!!

Club Night - 'Death in them thar hills!':

We were treated to a fine array of Wild West costumes and accents - a few select photos are on display in the Dive Centre - too risky to put them on the website!!  And for those of you who missed the night - 'dagnabbit' Heather did it!!

'Dagnabbit' - (exclaimation) Oldcootism used during great consternation or surprise. Used by 1890’s prospectors, cantankerous old farmers, and young people playing old people on TV in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s.  For anyone who didn't know!!!  Uttered 67 times by Doc during the Club Night!  How sad is that, and who counted them???
