The Black, by Aerdura,
Oceanic's latest version of the renowned Aerdura Dry Suit is the
“Black”. Bred from the pedigree stock of the Aerdura, the suit supplied
to the British Armed Forces. On the outside, a layer of heavy duty Cordura offers long lasting
strength and durability.
Next come fourteen layers of impermeable rubber butyl membrane,
half of which are impregnated with titanium oxide to form an infra red
reflective barrier.
However, the real secret of it's effectiveness lies within the thermal reflective 'fine satin' weave polyester lining. This is also impregnated
with Titanium Oxide for maximum warmth. This unique lining
and it's silver grey finish are exclusive to Oceanic.

for a light butyl, the HD400 uses no less than 170g per square metre of
soft, high-grade butyl to guarantee superb performance as well as long term water integrity. Made from
highly durable 'nylon 6' the outer suit is abrasive resistant, whilst the
soft internal polyester lining ensures maximum comfort. It's easy to
see why the HD400 is a popular choice.
Knee and shin reinforcement:
Double layer of High decitex 150 grammes per square metre tight weave
nylon 66 material for flexibility and strength. Fitted with drain
holes.
Wrist Seals:
Heavy Duty 40 thou thick “Seamtite” latex bottle seals Taped internally.
The NEW “Seamtite” latex material allows for better adhesion of glued
tapes. It is compatible with heat tape systems. It is less prone to ultra violet attack

Bias Cut:
This patent applied for feature revolutionises the membrane suit offering incredible comfort
and enhanced body contouring with all the strength advantages of the tough and
proven square woven trilaminate materials. The 45 degree bias cutting of all the panels
and the redesign of the back panel results in a 15% stretch factor in every suit panel in
both girth and vertical directions.
